Aechmea Coppertone               BackHomeNext

Research indicates that the Aechmea Coppertone is a cross of lueddemanniana X weilbachii. Either way, it's a bromeliad with stunning foliage AND bloom. The leaves grow straight at a 45 degree angle and are truly "copper" on the underside. The bloom is a branched inflorescence of vibrant purple that eventually produces lavender and blue flowers. The plants for sale are mature and are at least 24" above the soil line.
