Aechmea Marcelino                BackHomeNext

The Aechmea Marcelino is another hybrid developed here in So. Florida. It is used in landscaping quite a lot, creating a nice contrast to other foliage because of its color. The stiff leaves are burgundy with a silver frosting. The bloom is an upright flower spike that is orange and bright red. It literally lasts for many months. It also grows well in all light ranges and is very prolific.  These mature plants are at least 30" wide and develop quite a "wing span".

If purchasing multiple plants, a shipping discount will be configured on your final invoice. This time of year we ship all plants well insulated, but be sure to arrange for your package to not be exposed to the elements for an extended period of time.

At the present time we only ship within the U.S.

Plants make great gifts! I will be glad to wrap your plant in festive paper, include a card, and ship directly to the recipient at no extra cost to you.
