This is one of my VERY favorite bromeliads! The Aechmea Chantinii Samurai has incredible foliage and bloom. The midrib of the leaves have bold yellow variegations and the silver banding on green makes a striking plaid design. It really pops in your garden because it's so bright. The beautiful bloom spike is a combination of yellow, orange, and melon colors; and like most Aechmeas, lasts for months. It can take full sun, or partial shade. The plants for sale at least 20" across already (like the one pictured fifth). The planter pictured is also available. $37.99 If purchasing multiple plants, a shipping discount will be configured on your final invoice. This time of year we ship all plants well insulated, but be sure to arrange for your package to not be exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. At the present time we only ship within the U.S. Plants make great gifts! I will be glad to wrap your plant in festive paper, include a card, and ship directly to the recipient at no extra cost to you. Also if you're in the So. Florida area, the Bromeliad Society of Broward County meets the 3rd. Monday of every month at the Jim Ward Community Center at 301 N.W. 46 Ave. in Plantation at 7:30.
