The Billbergias are such hardy and prolific bromeliads. Now , with all the hybrids coming out, the colors and patterns are spectacular! The Hallelujah has such a beautiful range of rose and
fuchsia with dramatic white and dark spots. It can be grown as an epiphyte in a tree where it creates a mass of plants quickly and it really shows off when seen from below. Whether potted or in the ground as well, the more light, the more color. It withstands wind, drought, and a wide range of temps. The
pendulous inflorescence is branched with colorful rose pink bracts and tubular blue petaled flowers. We lost a large tree last year in a hurricane. We decided to incorporate a portion of the trunk into our landscaping. I planted a few Hallelujahs into a natural groove in the tree and they took off! This auction is for a plant that measures 13" (like the one pictured fourth). The planter pictured is also available in our store.
