The Neoregelia Luca has a deeeeep maroon color that is so dramatic in the landscape, although it needs filtered sun. The center colors up a little lighter eventually. I was lucky enough to come across this giant one and was surprised that they grow that large! I guess I just never gave my former ones the attention they needed to get this big. The first 2 pics were of one grown in brighter light and the last 2 pics are in shadier conditions. The
