 This is a plant that you splurge on once in a while. The Vriecantarea Inferno is a John Arden bigeneric of Vriesea Ensiformis and Alcantarea Regina. It's a real show stopper!  My experience of the plant is that it grew to 44" across. It's a beautiful glossy, spineless, emerald green. The flower spike is brightest RED , is very bold in structure and it lasted for months.  Each of the branches on the inflorescence opens to bright yellow flowers. The sale plants are approx 34" across and are just coming into bloom (like the last picture)..

If purchasing multiple plants, a shipping discount will be configured on your final invoice. This time of year we ship all plants well insulated, but be sure to arrange for your package to not be exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. 

At the present time we ship only within the U.S.
