Vriesea Neoglutinosa  BackHomeNext

The Vriesea Neoglutinosa is a simple yet pretty bromeliad. The original Glutinosa from which it descends was native to the limestone cliffs of Trinidad. The foliage is lime green and can definitely take sun. It grows upward and out forming a vase-like shape and the bloom is a bright red, tall, slender, branched  inflorescence that eventually blooms into tubular yellow flowers which attract hummingbirds. The sale plants are mature yet un-bloomed.
